Founded by Golan Levy, Perry Debell and Tamir Gilad in 2003.

The SDF bring's you their version of unarmed personal self protection from Israel. The techniques rely on natural human instincts and automatic reflexes for their effectiveness. Developing situational awareness and strong mental toughness are integral to the training process. This system is dynamic and forceful and has evolved to counter the constant threats faced in modern society. It assumes the defender is in a position of great disadvantage and experiencing shock and fear in confronting threatening and violent behaviour. Thus, the training sessions simulate the conditions that can be experienced on city streets. In this manner, beginners learn to control their initial fear and surprise at a sudden attack and gain knowledge and confidence to counter such threats.

Our instructors attend regular training both internally and with members of the IKMF Global Team, this ensures our standards and technical skills remain at the highest level, providing our students with the best.
